BHEKULWANDLE

Seed of Hope is located in the center of a township called Bhekulwandle. It is right on the edge of Amanzmtoti -- and the contrast between these two locations is pretty evident. I had a chance to take Isaiah on a bit of a tour through to show him how some people are living in this part of the world. I think he was pretty surprised. We happened to have dinner last night at a friends who lives in the township.

A dear friend of Seed of Hope and of mine, Gogo -- built her own house out of mud -- there are many in the area that are built that way - also of stone and some of bricks. Some are really well done -- others look very fragile -- but for many -- they are just home.
